Have you ever thought about how short life is?
I mean, you are born, live 5 or so years then get throw into school, spend the next 13 years going to school, most of us spent the last 2-3 working as well. Then we graduate, which is supposed to be this big life achievement, but in reality it means nothing, since most jobs only care for college degrees.
You then go to school another 4 years or so for a Bachelors degree, then either go into work or go back to school for 2-8 years depending on what you want for a masters and such.
After that you are thrust into the workplace, to work a job that you will probably hate, to make barely enough money to get by. You get married and have kids, then force your kids to live this meaningless life you led, then you retire with barely any money and die.
Looking back on your life, was it worth it? I mean spending the last 80 or so years doing things you don’t want to do, so you can be “happy.”
But what is “happy?” Is it having money? No. Is it love? Heck no! Well, what is happy? Is it doing what you love? Not really. In reality, the biggest achievement, and the biggest mystery in life is, What is happy?
